Parents & Partnership
Get Involved
There are various ways that parents, carers and families can be involved at St Paul’s Catholic College. Parents and carers are provided with opportunities throughout the year to be a part of events, liturgies and celebrations at the school.
Events throughout the year often involve parents and carers volunteering to serve tea, coffee and food. Parents and carers can participate in many other ways to contribute to the community of St Paul’s and be involved in their child’s school journey, such as assisting at excursions and around the school.
People who are volunteering in a direct contact capacity with students will be required to obtain a volunteer working with children check, which can be obtained online through the Service NSW website. A copy of the check must be sent to the college and verified before volunteering with students. A volunteer working with children check is free to apply for. The working with children check’s purpose is to exclude people from working with unsuitable children. Volunteers are subject to the current Child Protection and Child Safe legislation for the safeguarding of children.
